Self-Hate

Texas Democratic Senatorial candidate James Talarico admitted in a recent podcast that “I always think of myself as a Christian who hates Christianity.” You couldn’t find a better statement that sums up where the left in our country is than that. How can you call yourself a Christian and hate Christianity? He only wants the good about Christianity, but he doesn’t want what’s hard about Christianity, he doesn’t want what’s unpopular to popular culture. He wants to pick and choose which aspects of Christianity he approves, and which ones he doesn’t, which means he’s not a Christian. He wants to create God in his own image as opposed the other way around. He is elevating himself above all other Christians and above Christianity itself. He has the unmitigated arrogance to take it upon himself to correct Jesus, believing that he knows better than the bible, he knows better than two thousand years of Church doctrine.

Talarico said earlier this year in a New Yorker profile that Christianity is the “most violent” religion and has done “more damage” to Islam than it has done to any other religion. How brainwashed or braindead do you have to be to make a statement like that? We all know which religion is the most violent by far, and it is not Christianity. We have witnessed it with our own two eyes. Muslims have committed over 90% of all terrorist attacks in the last 50 years, but people like Talarico will ignore the evidence so he can continue to trash his own religion. He has said he had met Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jews, Muslims, atheists, and agnostics who were “more Christ-like” than some Christians he serves with in the Texas legislature which basically means that if you do not agree with him politically, then you are not Christ-like because he is the most Christ-like.

This type of self-loathing arrogance is not exclusive to Christianity. It’s prevalent throughout the American left right now. Democrats are Americans who hate America. In a 2001 Gallup Poll – 90% of Republicans and 85% of Democrats said they were proud to be Americans. In a 2026 poll, 90% of Republicans continue to be proud to be Americans while only 29% of Democrats are still proud to be Americans. The United States of America is arguably the greatest country that’s ever existed, and we have young people on the left who have inherited the ultimate privilege to have been born in this country, but have the audacity to criticize our system of government because it doesn’t always serve them exactly the way they want to be served. Those are the people who voted Zohran Mamdani into office. The spoiled, self-righteous, entitled people on the left.

Mamdani wants to bring communism to this country and he wants to Islamize it. Every Islamic country in the world is a hell hole, every Communist country has ended in a complete failure, but a 34-year-old Islamic communist knows better than the people who created the freest, the most prosperous country on the planet, one that protects human rights the best, that has moved every metric of human civilization forward dramatically more than any other country that ever exist existed. Mamdani, like most of those on the left, wants to dismantle that America.

The Democrats in New York’s 13 District, just nominated Daraliza Avila Chevalier for Congress. On October 8^th, 2023, she shouted, “Who is the terrorist? The United States of America! We feel the Palestinian blood. We feel the Palestinian blood. And we stand in solidarity with Palestine. We have the historic responsibility of defeating Israel colonialism and U.S. imperialism!” She is a member of CUAD – Columbia University Apartheid Divest, an organization that has as it goal a “the total collapse of the university structure and American empire itself” and aims “to undermine and eradicate America as we know it” by extending “Palestinian resistance” into “unrest and violence in America.” This is who the America left wants to represent them.

A DC District judge, Judge Sparkle Sooknanan, who is a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago, recently overruled the President of the United States Executive Order which would have prevented illegal immigrants from voting in American elections. So, a judge who is a citizen of another country has just overruled our President to allow citizens from other countries to decide elections in our country. That makes sense. No other country does this, and the same people who are advocating for this in America would be apoplectic if American citizens tried to vote and determine the results of other countries’ elections. This is all about hatred of America.

The results of illegal immigrants voting in American elections are predictable. They will turn America into the hell-holes from which the illegal immigrants came, not because that is right or just or beneficial, but because they are jealous. Americans spent 250 years creating a great, prosperous, free country, and these other people failed to do so in their own countries, so their solution is not to follow America’s lead and make their country great using America’s founding principles, its constitution and economic system, rather, they want to tear America down to their hell-hole country level. It is the same jealous, spiteful mentality of the communists. They are not smart enough or talented enough or hard working enough to become rich, so instead of improving themselves to better their lives, they want to tear down people like Elon Musk who is everything they are not, because he has achieved what they are not capable of achieving.

They have decided that they are going to dismantle the greatest system of government that has ever existed, and replace with an ideology that has failed every country where it has ever been tried, that is made every country poorer, more dictatorial, less free, more dangerous, more crime ridden. Why don’t the socialist go and live in socialist countries? Why don’t Islamists go and live in Islamic countries? They want all the good things that come from capitalists countries while being a socialist. To paraphrase Margaret Thatcher, their socialism works until they run out of the capitalists’ money. Likewise, the Islamists want all the good things from living in a Christian country while planning on Islamizing that Christian country.

We have Christians who hates Christianity. We have Americans who hate America. We have Westerners who hate the West. Muslims don’t hate Islam. The immigrants that come here from other countries don’t hate the countries that they just fled. Immigrants from failed desolate countries wave the flags of their home countries in America with more vigor and pride than Americans wave the American flag, yet both have chosen to live in America as opposed to the failing country from which the immigrants fled.

I was watching the World Cup game between Mexico and Czechia, when they were playing their respective national anthems before the game, all the athletes were standing arm-in-arm and singing their national anthem at the top of their lungs. Why is it only the athletes who represent the United States of America who refused to respect their country’s flag, who refuse to sing their national anthem? We had United States athletes during this past years’ winter Olympics telling reporters that they were embarrassed of America because they disagreed with some of the policies of the current administration. Mexico is a corrupt narco state with unfathomable crime levels, and the Mexican athletes do not feel the need to apologize for their home country.

The ironic thing is that there are citizens from other countries who have come to America to cheer on their countries team in the World Cup, who cannot believe how good we have it here in America, while too many Americans want to continually tear America down.

Oliver Henry, a World Cup fan from England, said in a recent TikTok post, “We owe America a huge apology, because America is nothing like the media tells us. Everyone is so friendly, everyone is so accommodating, and I’ve honestly had the best time.”

Josh — a British man who is living in the U.S. — echoed these sentiments. “America, you deserve and are owed an apology. And I’m going to say sorry on behalf of all the countries outside America and their media, and the narrative they paint about America. Hundreds of thousands of fans for the World Cup are now seeing America through their own eyes, realizing the narrative they’ve been fed is false. And they’re now realizing America is not the place that they thought it was. America is rich in culture, scenery, the people are amazing. And the media in the countries outside of America paint this weird narrative that it’s a place that you shouldn’t go, but now, the tides are changing.”

The only thing bad about America is the self-loathing Americans who are so spoiled living here that they hate America and want to change it. We have to start looking at America through new eyes, stop taking it for granted. Deep down, we all know how great America is. We don’t leave. We don’t long to go live in other countries the way citizens of other countries long to come to America, and have for hundreds of years. Any American citizen who does not appreciate what America is, is spoiled and entitled, and does not deserve to live in this great country.
