The Enemy Within

The far-left editor-in-chief of the far-left The Atlantic, Jeffrey Goldberg was inadvertently added to a group chat with Trump administration officials that was created by National Security Adviser Mike Waltz to coordinate potential United States military strikes against Houthis. The reaction by the people on the left was as predictable as it was over the top. Former White House adviser Susan Rice said Tuesday, it was “the biggest national security debacle that any professional can remember.” Senator Richard Blumenthal said that it was “a violation of the Espionage Act as well as the Federal Records and Presidential Records Act.” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries immediately called for Pete Hegseth to be fired. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe testified before Congress yesterday that no classified material was shared in the group chat. National security advisor Mike Waltz took full responsibility for the mistake, but assured everyone that “no war plans” were inadvertently leaked. Many on the left have disputed that assertion.

I find it interesting that the left who are now so concerned with protecting national security secrets and war plans, had no problem when Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley admitted to Congress that he made phone calls to General Li Zuocheng of the People’s Liberation Army of China in October 2020 and on January 8, 2021, telling him that he would call and alert him if the United States intended to launch a military strike against China. That is called treason. Intentionally colluding with the enemy to subvert or even ambush a United States military operation against that enemy deserves 20 years in Leavenworth. But the left cheered what Milley did because he went against Trump even if that meant siding with an American enemy.

Today, along those same line, Jonah Goldberg released the contents of the group chat in an article that he entitled, Here Are the Attack Plans That Trump’s Advisers Shared on Signal. If he actually received “war plans” inadvertently from that group chat, and if the release of those “war plans” by our government officials could be deadly to our military personnel if they ended up in the wrong people’s hands, as many people on the left are charging, then why in the world would Goldberg release the contents of chat knowing that Americans could be killed? Therein lies the difference between the right and the left. When the right does something that hurts the United States of America, it was done inadvertently or accidentally. It was a mistake. When the left does something to hurt America, it was done intentionally. It was on purpose. It was part of their grand plan – the destruction of America. So, for as bad as it is for Mike Waltz that the information was leaked to Goldberg, it is infinitely worse that Goldberg intentionally released the information to the world, to our enemies. But he does not care if Americans are killed because he puts party over country, as all people on the left always do.

The fact that it was a mistake is the main reason why I am not up in arms about this leak. The last four years under the Biden administration, the Democrats in charge were intentionally doing things to hurt the United States of America. They intentionally opened our borders knowing full well that they were letting in murderers, rapists, drug smugglers, vicious gang members, and terrorists. They knew that violent crime would go up, drug overdoses would sky rocket, our social services would be bankrupted, housing costs would explode, wages would go down, our cities and communities would be destroyed, and they did it anyway because that is all part of their plan – overrun the system, collapse the system, so they can rebuild it in their Marxist vision for America.

Why do you think that Biden signed four multi-trillion-dollar spending bills in a span of eighteen months, and had no problem carrying $2 trillion deficits from year to year, all while we had over $30 trillion of a national debt. The goal is to bring on the collapse of the financial system of the country to prove that capitalism doesn’t work so we must resort to socialism or communism. And the left attacks the country from every angle. That is why we have far left judges like Judge Boasberg who are blocking the deportation of some of the most violent gang member in the world who came here illegally. These gang members have no right to stay here. They are all illegal immigrants and they belong to the most vicious gang in the world, yet the left wants to keep them here because they need people like Tren de Aragua gang members if they are to destroy the social fabric of America.

Hopefully, this leaking of information was an isolated incident, a mistake that caused no harm and we can move on from there. We can talk about the threats of China or Russia or Iran or the Houthis all we want, but their ability to hurt the United States of America from without is very limited. The biggest threats to our country are from within, from the far left – the people living inside our borders or working within our government and institutions who are determined to destroy our country as we know it. Susan Rice, Hakeem Jeffries, Richard Blumenthal, Jonah Goldberg are much bigger threats than President Xi or Vladimir Putin because they are working inside the country to destroy it from within. We can never lose sight of who the most lethal enemy almost always is, the ones who pretend to be your friends.
